Execution spans five specialized challenges categorized across three operational modes. Knowledge conducts NIS2 Article 21(2) compliance audits (K1) and benchmarks industrial pentesting kill-chains against CIPHER's automated suite (K2). Testing validates S3 WORM vulnerability pipelines (T1) and assesses telemetry ingestion within the XDR SaaS platform (T2). Range/Enablement contributes sector-emulation cyber ranges (R1) or authors Infrastructure as Code automation (P1).
Beneficiary & submission
Proposals must be submitted electronically through the F6S platform prior to January 6, 2027 (17:00 CET). The CIPHER Consortium executes an administrative eligibility check and a binary technical scope screening before remote evaluation by independent experts. Candidates receive scoring across Excellence, Relevance, Impact, and Implementation. Top applicants finish interviews, complete KYC checks, and sign Sub-grant Agreements for the 9-month programme.
