Description

The 3rd Open Call aims to expand the role of the dAIEDGE Network of Excellence in the edge AI continuum, encompassing micro-, deep-, and meta-edge, with a focus on standardisation, open-source contributions, and infrastructure development. The Collaborative Projects Support Programme will finance up to 10 Proposals to solve the Industrial Challenges defined by the dAIEDGE Consortium, with the possibility of using resources from the dAIEDGE Virtual Lab or adding new resources to it or to re-use developments of the dAIEDGE project or dAIEDGE use-cases. Each beneficiary project of dAIEDGE Collaborative Projects Open Call can receive a maximum amount of up to 60.000 € for participating in the up to 7 months of Support Programme, which includes the following stages: ● Stage 1: Plan Phase, during which the beneficiary should deliver an Individual Mentoring Plan (including challenges, research activities and budget). The duration of this stage is up to 1 month and, after completing it, the beneficiary will receive a maximum amount of up to 9.000 €. ● Stage 2: Implementation Phase, which should lead to a Proof of Demonstration. The duration of this stage is up to 6 months and, after completing it, the beneficiary will receive a maximum amount of up to 51.000 €.

Submission through the application form available on: https://daiedge-3oc.fundingbox.com/ The selection of the Open Call proposals will be carried out in a five-step process. ● Step 1 will check the proposals against the Declaration of Honour or self-declarations included in the Application Form. ● Step 2 (if necessary) will pre-select the best proposals based on pre-scoring criteria. ● Step 3 will involve experts’ evaluation to assess the proposal according to the criteria. ● Step 4 will invite top-scoring applicants to pitch their projects during an online Jury Day ● Step 5 will involve the dAIEDGE Selection Committee in choosing the proposals based on the external evaluation results, the Jury Day pitches and the objectives of the dAIEDGE project. ● The final step will include the review of legal documents before the Sub-Grant Agreement signature.
