Beneficiary & submission
Applications must be submitted exclusively through the F6S platform (https://www.f6s.com/trunsport-open-call-1) before the deadline specified in the Open Call documentation.
Following submission, applications will undergo a multi-stage evaluation process consisting of:
1. Eligibility Check
The TRUNSPORT Open Call Management Team will verify compliance with all administrative and eligibility requirements, including:
- submission before the deadline;
- completeness of the application;
- applicant eligibility;
Applications failing the eligibility check will not proceed to evaluation.
2. Independent Evaluation
Eligible proposals will be evaluated by 2 independent experts with recognised expertise in cybersecurity, critical infrastructures, innovation and digital technologies.
Each proposal will be evaluated independently against the evaluation criteria described in the Guidelines for Applicants, covering:
- Relevance and Objectives;
- Team Skills and Expertise;
- Excellence and Implementation;
- Impact.
The maximum evaluation score is 20 points. Minimum threshold scores will apply both per evaluation criterion and overall.
3. Consensus and Ranking
Where necessary, evaluators will participate in a consensus process to agree on a final score for each proposal.
A ranked list will then be established according to the final evaluation scores.
Where proposals receive identical final scores, the tie-breaking procedure described in the Guide for Applicants will be applied.
The Evaluation Committee will validate the final ranking list before submitting it for approval by the TRUNSPORT Project Supervisory Board.
Results Notification
Following completion of the evaluation process, applicants will be informed of the outcome by email.
Successful applicants will receive:
- an Evaluation Summary Report;
- an invitation to enter the Grant Preparation phase;
- instructions for signing the Sub-Grant Agreement.
Applicants placed on the reserve list will receive:
- an Evaluation Summary Report;
- notification of their reserve status.
Unsuccessful applicants will receive:
- an Evaluation Summary Report outlining the evaluation results.
Selected beneficiaries will be required to confirm their participation within the deadline specified in the invitation. Failure to respond within the indicated period may result in the offer being transferred to the next eligible applicant on the reserve list.
Redress Process
Applicants may submit a request for redress if they consider that procedural errors occurred during the eligibility assessment or evaluation process.
Requests for redress must:
- be submitted in writing within the deadline specified in the Guide for Applicants;
- clearly identify the alleged procedural error;
- include supporting evidence where appropriate.
Redress requests will be examined by the TRUNSPORT Supervisory Board, which was not involved in the original evaluation.
The redress procedure is limited exclusively to reviewing the correctness of the evaluation process. It does not involve a re-evaluation of the scientific, technical or operational merits of the proposal.
Applicants will be notified of the outcome of the redress procedure by email.
All requests for redress should be submitted to the official TRUNSPORT Open Call 1 contact address indicated in the Guide for Applicants.
