Beneficiary & submission

The mission of Boost project is to support EISMEA (European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency) in the implementation of EIC Booster Grants for the EIC Awardees. The project is a continuation of the EIC Booster Grant scheme as implemented by EISMEA since 2023. The Boost project will launch a restricted call for proposals with multiple cut-offs to provide funding support to identified EIC Awardees. Booster grant aims to fund innovation activities to explore potential pathways to commercialisation and portfolio activities to a booster grant project linked to an EIC pathfinder, EIC transition, FET Open or FET Proactive funded projects. The goal is to provide EIC/FET Awardees with some small financial support to carry out portfolio coordinating activities or to nurture innovation which was not foreseen in the initial grant. The evaluation and selection process will follow these steps: Application submission via official form available under the invitation provided by EIC. Admissibility and Eligibility check. Evaluation by external experts. Legal validation and sub-grant agreement signature.

Further information

Only beneficiaries who have received an EIC-endorsed invitation to submit a proposal will be eligible. The maximum amount of financial support will never exceed €50.000 contribution per EIC Booster Grant project.
