OPEN: Brazil 2025 is a high-impact hybrid programme designed for European Startup Programme Managers and their portfolio startups aiming to explore and expand into Brazil—Latin America’s largest innovation market. At the heart of the programme is a 5-day Immersion Lab in São Paulo, designed to facilitate meaningful engagement with Brazil’s leading VCs, corporates, innovation hubs, and public institutions through curated matchmaking, site visits, and roundtable discussions. This in-market experience is complemented by: 🔹 A focused LATAM Market Readiness Bootcamp to support strategic preparation 🔹 Tailored follow-up activities to help turn connections into long-term partnerships OPEN: Brazil 2025 is more than just a programme—it’s a launchpad for strategic internationalisation and sustainable growth.

Beneficiary & submission

Each application will be reviewed and ranked by the following criteria: Startup Programme Managers: Impact of your organisation and programme on the European Innovation ecosystem (i.e., number of startups you meet weekly) – 30% of the score Excellence of you and the startups you are recommending to participate: Professional role and seniority level – 30% of the score The maturity level of the suggested 1-3 startups from the participant’s portfolio – 20% of the score. The participating startups should have a maturity level ranging from late seed to post-Series A, having secured at least one round of funding, developed at least a prototype product, and demonstrated readiness to scale in the Brazilian market. Quality and efficiency of implementation (including motivation and added value to the programme) - 20% of the score 5 additional points can be awarded for underrepresented groups Startups to the Immersion Lab: The following elements will be taken into consideration in the assessment process: Excellence, differentiation of the technology, and product maturity (30 pts.) Market and Impact (30 pts.) Quality and efficiency of the implementation (20 pts.) Motivation and Bootcamp fit (20 pts.) 5 additional points can be awarded for underrepresented groups All the information about the startups will be gathered by the Startup Programme Managers and will be part of their application to the programme.
