SOPRANO Open Call - Industry Demonstrators of the SOPRANO Technologies

The SOPRANO Open Call will provide a maximum of 200 000 EUR per project to fund the demonstration, testing and validation of the SOPRANO technologies when exploited within SME and Startup solutions in robotics use cases involving human-robot collaboration. The expected outcome is an industry relevant prototype of a robotics solution, using the SOPRANO technologies and addressing the applicant’s multi human - multi robot application scenario. SMEs are expected to co-finance 30% of the project budget. The financial support for Startups (or a consortium of Startups) is 100% of the project budget and no co-financing is expected. Startup eligibility rules apply. The funded demonstrators (1) will be within one of the industrial sectors preferred in this Open Call or within a sector justified by the applicant, and (2) will be developed by integrating and using at least one of the following SOPRANO components: Visual Spatial Mapping Object Perception Non-Visual Localization Human Monitoring Mapping of High-level Plan to Robotic Capabilities MH-MR Task Allocation Safety Tools Scalable Simulation-Based Testing Human - Digital Twin AI Trustworthiness Context Extraction Module MH-MR Architecting Tools MLOps Orchestrator AI Model Optimizer Robotic Capabilities Implementation Advanced Visualizations

Beneficiary & submission

The SOPRANO Open Call will invest a total of €1 880 000 to recruitrobotics SMEs/startups to exploit the SOPRANO technologies and develop new demonstrators or enhance an existing demonstrator supporting multi human - multi robot scenarios in industrial settings, thus validating the project technologies in diverse industrial sectors, engaging new use cases and boosting the SOPRANO technologies’ dissemination and exploitation. The Open Call will finance at minimum one single entity (Startup or SME) and a maximum of three entities (a consortium of Startups or SMEs). Submission is done exclusively via the F6S platform at: https://www.f6s.com/soprano-open-call/apply. Submissions via e-mail or other means will not be eligible. All applicants should fill in the application form available on the F6S platform and attach the completed Annex 2.1 Proposal Template, containing the description of the proposed project, and Annex 2.2 Proposal Budget Template.
