The call for projects aims to support the SMEs registered in Lithuania to increase the cybersecurity resilience.
Beneficiary & submission
Applications can be submitted via a platform indicated in the call text. The applications are evaluated by the Central Project Management Agency (CPMA). The applications are evaluated in two rounds: 1. Eligibility evaluation. 2. Benefit and quality evaluation. In the 1st round the eligibility criteria fulfilment is checked, and in the 2nd round the applications are scored with benefit and quality evaluation criteria. CPMA has the right to decide which evaluation – either eligibility evaluation or evaluation of the benefit and quality of projects - should be carried out first, or to carry out both evaluations simultaneously. Evaluation reports prepared by the CPMA shall be submitted to the project selection committee for approval. The call targets Lithuanian SMEs and focuses on deployment of cyber security products, processes and services in the network and information systems infrastructure of SMEs to enhance the cyber resilience. In addition, the following activities are eligible for financing: § Acquisition of cyber security processes and services that are not deployed in the network and information systems infrastructure of SMEs. § Boosting knowledge of SMEs employees to implement the requirements of the Republic of Lithuania Law on Cyber Security. § The applicant will also receive more points if it acquires cybersecurity training to meet the requirements of the Cybersecurity Law (the same as in the NIS (2) Directive). A minimum of 30,000.00 EUR and a maximum of 60,000.00 EUR of financial support can be applied per project. There is a 25 % co-funding requirement per project.
