CYSSDE: Involvement of National Coordination Centers (NCCs)

The selected applicants will participate in the CYSSDE Programme, with a duration of maximum 11 months, split into 2 stages: 1st STAGE: Communication Plan (1 month) Development of a suitable communication plan, including the budget, which will focus on dissemination activities for CYSDDE project with focus on the second and third OCs 2nd STAGE:. NCCs Engagement activities (10 months) NCCs will implement the communication activities defined in the Communication plan, and will have an active participation in the project’s activities, activities expected are (not extensive list): l Fostering activities of CYSSDE dissemination within their own activities l To organise 1 event at regional level l Outreach to a number of stakeholders l To design needs for the services needed in the 2nd Funding Instrument Open Calls with respect of users’ needs l Participation in activities of the project: meetings and events of the project Other NCC’s Engagement with CYSSDE activities Participation in activities of the project: meetings and events of the project. Funding per stage: 1st stage: ‘Communication Plan’ - up to 30% of the approved budget per beneficiary 2nd stage: ‘NCCs engagement activities’- up to 70% of the approved budget per beneficiary

Submission & evaluation process
The NCCs Open Call will be supporting projects for the involvement of National Cybersecurity Coordination Centers (NCCS) throughout eleven months. The selected NCCs will have to define a suitable Communication Plan, empowering them to fund local cybersecurity initiatives. The aim is to enhance the overall size and capability of the pool of actors that can efficiently address cybersecurity challenges at both EU and national levels.
The selection of the open call proposals will be carried out in a three-step process.
- Step one: first check on proposals’ eligibility.
- Step two: ranking of proposals by independent experts.
- Step three: selection of the final list of participants by the CYSSDE Selection Committee.
The eligible participants of this program are NCCs that are registered in the Member States of the European Union, listed in the Network of National Coordination Centres of the European Cybersecurity Competence Centre (ECCC).
