SUMMARY OF THE OPPORTUNITY: - aerOS aims at launching aerOS Open Call #1 to fund up to 7 innovative projects in the form of grant that will demonstrate aerOS extensibility while enhancing the scope of impact of the meta operating system and contributing to the challenges defined by the pilots of the project. - Individuals, SMEs and RTOs are eligible entities (not large companies). - Every selected applicant will be granted up to 60.000 € to deliver results to validate aerOS in an execution period of 8 months. - Granted proposals will be selected after a redundant, peer-based evaluation following transparent criteria and procedures. The decision will come from the evaluation of each proposal by two independent experts that will score them based on relevance, impact, technical excellence, quality of implementation and quality of the team; approval and ranking will be conducted by a panel composed of the PC, Work Package Leaders and two selected experts from the evaluators groups; with all the process supervised by an external ethical observer. - Consortium partners, or linked third parties of consortium partners, are not allowed to apply for aerOS financial support. Deadline for submission of proposals is 31st January 2024, 5 pm CET.
Beneficiary & submission
The submission of proposals will be managed through a dual-channel procedure after proper registry per applicant. The procedure is divided in three steps: (1) register in an online form including key data, (2) preparation of a PDF (maximum 15 pages) exposing the proposal, (3) submitting the proof-of-registration and the proposal via email.
