Beneficiary & submission

For proposal preparation, applicants must apply online and answer all mandatory questions (with no exception) at: https://www.f6s.com/sermas-oc1/apply. Applicants must submit an application form and annexes, including the technical description. Proposals will be first screen to check eligibility criteria. Eligible proposals will undergo a two-step evaluation process. The first step consists of remote evaluation performed by a board of external evaluators. At least two different experts will evaluate each proposal. The criteria for evaluation will be: Excellence, Impact, Implementation and Team. At the end of the remote evaluation process, all proposals will be ranked based on their scores. A maximum of 12 proposals will be invited for an online interview with internal evaluators from the SERMAS Consortium. Each interview will include at least three experts representing a scientific/technology, user and business perspective. The interview aims to understand the proposed projects better, their fit with the Toolkit, the team and commitment and evaluate future impacts. The online interviews will evaluate proposals against the following evaluation criteria: Excellence, Impact, Implementation, Team, and Alignment with SERMAS. At the end of the interview evaluation process, all proposals will be ranked based on their final scores.
