3. Information for applicants

This section includes general information on the registration process and applicants’ conditions.

3.1. General information

Registrations should involve students that have been accepted to attend the ManagiDiTH Master’s programme and have been officially enrolled at the cohort 2024-2025. At the time of launching this call, the total number of students is 161.

Students that have officially withdrawn or suspended their studies are not eligible to express their interest in participating.

Attendance at the Summer School 2025 (Workshop on Managing Digital Transformation in the Health Sector) must involve the presence of students physically at the venue of the Summer School during all five (5) days of the duration of the Summer School. Some flexibility will be allowed on the 1st day of the Summer School (Monday 05/05/2025) to enable travelling, as well as on the last day (09/05/2025) for departures. However, students who will not show up during the Summer School on 1 (or more) of the 5 days will not be eligible for the funding of their trip.

The ManagiDiTH consortium has ensured effective procedures and arrangements to promote and guarantee the safety, protection and non-discrimination of the participants in the Summer School 2025. It is recommended that students are in possession of a European Health Insurance Card. This is a free card that gives access to medically necessary, state-provided healthcare during a temporary stay in any of the 27 EU countries, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway, under the same conditions and at the same cost (free in some countries) as people insured in that country.

3.2. Contractual Conditions

The conditions for receiving the funding to participate in the ManagiDiTH Summer School 2025 will be subject of a contract to be signed between the Contracting Entity (one of the university partners) and the student.

Registered students will be offered a “ManagiDiTH Summer School 2025 Financing to Third Party Contract” by one of the three (3) higher education institutions delivering the Joint Master’s Degree, i.e. Iscte -University Institute of Lisbon, Laurea - University of Applied Sciences, or Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

The contract will indicate the student’s calculated scholarship amount as described in Section 2.2 which will require supporting documentation (proof of travel and certificate of attendance (as described in Section 2.3)) but it will not include a specific amount allocation per expense category, i.e. the individual amounts spent on tickets, accommodation, or living expenses will be used as proof but not as evidence for alteration of the scholarship amount.

The Summer School Contractor identified in the Contract is the main contact point between the participating student for all matters related to the funding and eligibility of their participation, both during the entire period (from the signature of the contract to the payment of the final installment).

The processes for reimbursement of the scholarships in all 3 higher education institutions may vary. Therefore, registered students will need to follow the procedures defined by the individual Contractor with whom the ManagiDiTH Summer School 2025 Financing to Third Parties Contract is signed.

The assignment of students to one of the 3 higher education institutions will be decided and approved by the Master’s Programme Coordination Committee and no change will be allowed.

The ManagiDiTH project consortium may, at any moment, cease to proceed with the application/registration procedure and cancel it.

The ManagiDiTH project consortium reserves the right not to award any contracts at the end of the registration procedure.

The ManagiDiTH project consortium is not liable for any expense or loss the Summer School applicants may have incurred in preparing their registration.

The ManagiDiTH Summer School 2025 Financing to Third Parties Contract will be the primary binding document governing participation, funding, and associated terms.
