NebulOuS Open Call #2

The objective of the NebulOuS Open Call #2 is to give selected applicants the opportunity to discover NebulOuS at the second half of the project, when a mature release of the Meta-OS stack will be available. Selected teams will test components of the NebulOuS architecture, by providing additional use cases where an IoT to Edge to Cloud infrastructure is needed. The objective of NebulOuS Open Call #2 will be validation of extended aspects of the platform and NebulOuS will invest a total of €750.000 to fund 5 projects bringing an added value to NebulOuS by showcasing new use cases in different domains than those covered already by the Project. Participants in NebulOuS Open Call #2 are invited to submit a proposal addressing at least one of the following challenges: Challenge 1 - Workflow application Challenge 2 - IoT application Challenge 3 - Serverless application Challenge 4 - Open challenge The objective of NebulOuS Open Call #2 will be validation of extended aspects of the platform and NebulOuS will invest a €750.000 to fund 5 projects (maximum €150.000 per project) bringing an added value to NebulOuS by showcasing new use cases in different domains than those covered already by the Project.
Beneficiary & submission
Submission: Project applications must be submitted by 23 April 2025 at 17:00 CET here: https://nebulouscloud.eu/open-call-2/ Evaluation: Step 1: Eligibility check Administrative eligibility screening: ensuring compliance with submission procedures and documentation requirements. Technical eligibility screening: assessing the technical feasibility of the proposed solutions based on the information provided in Annex 2.1 - NebulOuS Open Call #2 - Technical verification form. Proposals must meet ALL the eligibility criteria. The eligibility check enables the creation of a shortlist of proposals to be evaluated in the next step of the evaluation process. Step 2: External remote evaluation Eligible proposals will be evaluated remotely by independent evaluators. The following evaluation criteria apply: C1 - Novelty, adequateness of the proposed use-case to be implemented with NebulOuS. C2 - Economic, social and environmental impact of the planned use-case C3 - Expertise and excellence of the proposed team C4 - Project planning and value for money

Eligible beneficiaries: NebulOuS will fund third-party projects that may be from: Single entity - Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) working on the IoT, Edge, Cloud or other related technologies.
