EIT Manufacturing Competition BoostUp! North 2023

Description

EIT Manufacturing launches the “BoostUp! North 2023” call and competition aiming at selecting and supporting early-stage and mature startups from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and the UK willing to internationalise and scale up their business across Europe. The 6 finalist startups shortlisted from the 1st phase, will receive a “growth package” service support of up to two months duration that is offered by the Business Creation team of EIT Manufacturing. During the 2nd phase, the 6 finalists will be invited to pitch in front of a jury composed by independent experts during the live, in-person event BoostUp Final organized by EIT Manufacturing North, in Gothenburg Sweden, on February 8th, 2024.

Beneficiary & submission

The EIT Manufacturing BoostUp! North 2023 competition is intended as a call for spin-offs, early-stage startups and mature startups from Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and the UK. Its goal is to stimulate their ecosystem in order to scout and screen the most innovative solution providers. To be eligible, the applicants have to meet the following conditions: The applying startup must be registered in one of the following countries: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Iceland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, and the UK; Be an entrepreneurial team, with a minimum of two members. Startups established and operating for at least one year have to prove revenue traction (existing reference customers) or completed proof of concepts of the solution with reference customer; The business development plans (incl. financial aspects) shall be disclosed; The application package should include a completed application form, pitch deck, logo, and company registration certificate. The applying startup is NOT a Partner Member of EIT Manufacturing, or a Linked Third Party of a Partner Member of EIT Manufacturing. The evaluation of all eligible applications will be conducted in two steps: Phase 1 - Evaluation of Proposals by two independent External Experts and one Internal Expert of EIT Manufacturing; and Phase 2 - In-person pitching session overseen by a dedicated jury panel.
