Invitation for Small Grants for Coding Projects

Description

The goal of the funding is to identify and support coding projects that align with the EU CodeWeek principles to promote programming, algorithmic thinking, and digital tools to young people, especially girls, across Europe. The main objectives include: ● Developing innovative and scalable coding activities ● Supporting initiatives that integrate coding into educational frameworks and enhance participation ● Encouraging community involvement and strengthening collaboration among stakeholders ● Prioritizing projects that bridge the gender gap and promote diversity in STEM education

Beneficiary & submission

Interested organizations are invited to submit a project proposal by 30/06/2025. The application can be found on the Greek CodeWeek site: codeweek.gr The application must be submitted via email to info@codeweek.gr Each applicant must submit a proposal with a suggested budget for the project. The proposal must include: ● A description of the project, its goals, and expected impact ● Details on the implementation plan, timeline, and required resources ● Information about the applicants and their relevant experience

Further information

Grants ranging from €500 to €1000 will be awarded to successful applications based on their quality and impact. Proposals will be evaluated according to criteria such as clarity, feasibility, educational impact, and alignment with the EU CodeWeek objectives. Financial support for the selected successful applicants will be provided directly by CityLab IKE, acting in its own name and under its own responsibility. CityLab IKE own responsibility includes the preparation and drafting of this call as well as the selection of successful applicants that will receive the said financial support. The publication of this call in the EU Funding & Tenders Portal is made solely for information purposes with the aim to increase the visibility of this call to the general public, including to potential applicants (i.e. students).
